Spiritual Life
We highly value the Christian faith component of Village life. Our Vision Statement and Core Values reflect Biblical, spiritual qualities. At the top of every monthly newsletter it reads, “A community where faith and friendships flourish.” This is not just a slogan; it is the reality we strive for. While we highly value the worship and fellowship at our various area churches, we offer enriching opportunities for spiritual growth together with our neighbors and friends here in Wesleyan Village.

Neighborhood Shepherds
We have a team of individuals who provide prayer support for the people on their assigned street. The shepherds make monthly contacts for the purpose of encouragement and spiritual well-being. The desire is that everyone feels cared for.

Bible Studies
There are three Bible studies that meet weekly throughout the Village with experienced teachers and enriching discussion.

Prayer Walkers
Named for a former beloved resident, Dr. Charles Paine, who walked miles around the village each day praying as he went, the Chuck Paine Prayer Walkers currently number 83 residents. These prayer walkers combine physical exercise with prayer for fellow residents, staff members, board members, volunteers, and all aspects of village life.

Spiritual Emphasis Week
Each year in the month of January we have a tradition of having special services with guest speakers and singers beginning Tuesday night and continuing twice per day, Wednesday through Saturday. The series concludes on Sunday night. It is an uplifting way to start off the new year!
